Sidekick for InDesign is available on Adobe Exchange at $9.95/month with a 30-day free trial. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, you’ll be charged automatically.

How payment works

When you subscribe on Adobe Exchange, the checkout is handled by FastSpring — Adobe’s payment partner for third-party extensions. Here’s what happens:

1. Checkout through FastSpring

You’ll see a FastSpring checkout dialog when subscribing on Adobe Exchange.

2. Trial confirmation

After completing checkout, you’ll see a confirmation with your order reference and trial end date.

3. Confirmation email from FastSpring

You’ll receive a confirmation email from FastSpring (not from Adobe or East Pole). Hold on to this email — you’ll need it to manage or cancel your subscription.

Why it doesn’t appear in your Adobe account

Because billing is handled by FastSpring, your Sidekick subscription won’t appear under your Adobe account’s Plans & Products page — it’s managed entirely through FastSpring.

Managing your subscription

To view, update, or cancel your subscription, follow the steps in How to Cancel Your Subscription. The same process lets you update your payment method.

Refunds

Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase. To request a refund, email [email protected] with your Order ID (it starts with “ADO”).
